Effects of Emotional Eating To Your Body

There are many reasons why a person eats more than the average. First, if a person especially a woman lacks sleep the night before, tendency is she will have to compensate the hours she lost in sleeping through eating. Yes, most women will eat a lot, literally a lot of food whatever the taste like as long as it's edible. Guess what? They don't even feel full at the end instead they want more before they know it, they feel bloated before going to sleep.
Second, emotional eating. Yes, this is one of the common causes why obese individuals whether male or female, old or young tend to keep on increasing their weight each year without even losing a little bit in between. The problem with emotional eating is that when you feel happy, you eat. When you feel a bit sad, you eat. When you are lonely, depressed, stressed out, and frustrated, you eat. Eventually, you seek comfort in food without even knowing it.
If you are an emotional eater, there is a slight chance that you can overcome your problem of being obese since you find comfort through eating. You need to embrace your emotions and accept that you are capable of enduring every pain, heart aches and happiness out on your own. However, you need also be aware that you need to seek comfort on people who love you the most and not on something that will not even embrace you when you are sad.
Emotional eaters do not realize the consequence of finding comfort on eating food. Before they know it, they are now fat and it's difficult to get out of that situation. Usually, the put the blame on a person, on a certain situation, or any other circumstances that they might think of but deep inside their emotions are playing around without them knowing it.
Effects of being an emotional eater? It can lead to health complications such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, heart disease and many more. Worst, it the effects can be fatal.
It is highly recommended to examine yourself if you are indeed an emotional eater, what triggers you to eat more and more, and look for alternatives or solutions. When you already resolve the root cause of being an emotional eater, you will certainly see a big difference on your out look in life and more importantly a drastic change in your weight
