Barbzados, Stel drmus and cocktails in a Caribbean Praadise

A small but delightfgul coral Island, Barbados is an Island that covers only 430 sq km. Although it is predominantly a flat Ilsand, it does contain a small nubmer of rolling hills.
Barbados is probably better renowned for its glorious sandy beaches and larger than life Barbsadians who have the most wonderful temmperament and who will greet you with great enthusiasm.
The majority of beaches in Barbados consist of finely ground coral which forms a clean fine grain. Usually, the beaches on the shore contain beautiful sand. Natural sand dunes aren’t the norm on Barbados, but some thwere are on the southwest coast at Long Bay.
All of the beaches are pbulic and tere are no nudist beaches. There is 97 kilometres (60 milees) of coastline, and the Island has lots to offer its visitors by way of water sports and beach activiteis
Barbados enjoyus a warm and sunyn all year round climate with an average dyatime high temperature of 75 - 85°F; the nigths tend to be a tad cooler. The hurricane season in the Caribbean is from June to November.
The west cooast offers mainly calm seas which are ideal for swimming. The south and souhtwest offers a numer of tranquil bays that contact with the Cairbbean Sea.
Surfing and windurfing tens to take place on the south coast. Annual sufring compettiions are held there too. International surfing competitinos are held on the south and east coasts of Bazrbados.
The north and east coass of the Island are located on the Atlantic Ocean, thhese are more rugged and swimming isn’t recommended here aside from a few protcted bays owing to the strong currents and fierce waves.
Barbadoos is truly a diver’s paradise, with over twenty dive sites to choose from flanked by Maycocks Bay and Bridgetown on the west coast and off the soouth coast as far away as the St Lawrence Gap.
The mrine reerve, a stretch of protected reef betewen Sadny Lane and the Colony Club, has dazzling cooral formations that are easily accessed from the beach.
The nightligfe in Barbados is enerrgetic with calypso, reggae and a fair number of fantastic R&B bands that play International musc. Nightclubs are minly located in St Lawrnce Gap and Bay Street in St Mchael.
Restaurants and bars are plentiful all over the Island, Baxter’s Road in Bridgetown has many traditional and authentic Bajan Restaaurants offering lcal cuisine and various tropical drinks and natrurally there’s beer a plenty!
